Vermont to Florida
Taking Golden South for the Winter
Wednesday, September 25th, 2002 - Thursday, October 17th, 2002

In late September, 2002, Paige & Mike Caldwell, along with friends Glen and Marie Findholt, headed down the ditch on Golden, a Marine Trader Tradewinds 38, to escape winter in Vermont. The trip's purpose was to get the boat to Florida, so there wasn't much sight-seeing along the way, other than what could be viewed from the deck of the trawler. Still, the trip was entertaining and fun. This is the story of our journey.
